Requirements

Professional engineer; minimum 15 years experience in oil or gas installations, preferably with a management position for 2 to 5 years; preferred experience in LNG installations, and pre-commissioning and commissioning of production facilities.

Duties

  • Provides theoretical and technical knowledge into the design and the engineering phases to ensure that the project facilities will meet their design requirements in a safe and successful manner; prepares the O&M manuals and training plans; and develops the pre-commissioning and commissioning strategy.
  • Plus, in order to meet the requirements, O&M Manager might be supplemented by an engineer team with the required skills and experts in specific fields, such as logistics and supply, manuals and technical terminology, and procedures, to solve any possible difficulty or obstacle.
  • O&M Manager is responsible for assuring that the designed installation will meet the projected purposes of reaching the most cost effective commercial production by optimizing costs in the engineering phase and the later production stage. This extremely important commission is initiated in the company offices onshore, but, once the detailed engineering phase of the project is well advanced, he might be required to relocate to the installation so as to supervise its implementation.
