Duties
Toolpusher is the general manager on board. Supervises and directs all of the operations and personnel of the different department on board so as to meet the company´s aims and objectives safely and timely. This includes a wide variety of tasks, such as supplying technical advice, coordinating plans of the oil or gas company with the drilling company, handling personnel and communication with the crew to determine their needs, assuring that the adequate reports are completed when required, ensuring maintenance and repair operations, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with all state and corporate policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Obviously, this person is required to be on the work location and can be called on at any time 24 hours a day.
Salary
Negotiable depending on the contract.
