Responsible for preparation, scheduling and implementation of safety training programs; examination of potential unsafe practices and working conditions, suggesting adequate solutions to ensure that all employees comply with offshore safety procedures, rules and regulations, and company policies and guidelines.

Responsible for general duties on board, such as keeping the deck areas clean and tidy, chipping rust, painting, etc.; supplying any equipment or tool requested; and assisting the crane operator to unload supplies and equipment from the surface boats by hooking and unhooking the loads and guiding the crane manoeuvres.

Responsible for the assembly of scaffolds and temporary frameworks for supporting workers and materials during the erection, maintenance and repair of different structures. It is an itinerant job, depending on the company´s requirements and demands.
