The casino manager, or gaming manager, is responsible for the daily management and supervision of machinery and equipment, personnel and activity in the casino department on board.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in hospitality management, business administration or related issued by an accredited educational institution.
• Proven experience in managerial position in a casino, hotel or resort.
• Previous experience on board cruise ships is preferred.
• Managerial skills.
• Command of English, with knowledge of other languages as a plus.
• Knowledge of computer software, preferably applicable to the casino and hotel industry.
• Proven ability to work in multicultural environment.

• Directly responsible for the supervision of all aspects of gaming services and activities in the casino areas, including the maintenance of the appropriate gaming environment to attract and retain the attention and interest of the passengers so as to achieve, or even exceed, the revenue targets set by the cruise company or the concessionaire.
• Supervision of subordinate casino positions and staff to ensure a necessary level performance according to the standards of service to achieve desired results and outcomes set by the cruise company or the concessionaire.
• Responsible for setting policies and gaming rules to ensure the compliance of the sector regulations and laws.
• Supervision of maintenance tasks of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems to ensure their proper functioning.
• Coordination of security procedures, monitoring all casino games and machines, personnel and players, and cash handling and management to minimize security risk and fraud.
• Supervision of all training programs in the casino department to maintain and improve the level of performance of the personnel and promote to higher positions.
• Control and supervision of schedules and vacation times of the casino personnel.
• Responsible for all aspects related to customer service and satisfaction.
• Management and supervision of marketing and promotion campaigns and initiatives to increase both the flow of customers and the revenue.
